Top 5 Ways To Serve Tacos On Taco Tuesday

یاسمین قاسمی

Having a fun theme night is a great way to draw customers into your restaurant. Taco Tuesdays are quite popular; however, you'll want to make sure a different type of taco is featured each week in order to keep families and groups of friends coming back again and again.

Taco Salad

Taco salads are visually appealing to diners, as they feature a vibrant array of colors. They also appeal to the more health conscious individuals who aren't interested in feasting on flour tortillas. Simply sprinkle the taco meat over a bed of greens that has been mixed with chopped red onion, diced green or yellow bell peppers, sliced cherry tomatoes, and cut black olives. Top the entire salad with some shredded cheddar cheese and you're all done.

Fish Tacos

Appeal to the seafood lovers with some tasty fish tacos. Tilapia and cod are two excellent types of fish to use for this purpose. After coating the fish in your favorite type of batter and frying it up, you'll want to add some shredded cabbage to the dish. Place these ingredients in the center of your tortilla and top with salsa, sour cream, and chives.

Shredded Chicken Taco

If you want to appeal to the masses, a shredded chicken taco is the way to go. Center the shredded chicken that has been cooked with taco seasonings in the taco shell. Add shredded lettuce and radishes over the chicken before sprinkling on a little lime juice. Top with guacamole and a dollop of sour cream. You can also serve a little cup of salsa on the side.

Vegetarian Taco

Offering a vegetarian taco is a great way to draw in individuals and their friends that prefer to abstain from eating meat. Coat the center of some soft shell corn tortillas with cooked black beans and then add shredded kale that has been cooked with onions and garlic. Add some fresh diced tomatoes and some shredded cheddar cheese (or leave the cheese off for a vegan type of taco) and serve hot.

Breakfast Taco

There are plenty of folks who enjoy eating breakfast for dinner, so why not give them the opportunity with a scrambled egg taco? After the scrambled eggs have cooked, place a little bit of ricotta cheese on top of the eggs and remove from the heat of the stove. Wait a minute or two for the cheese to melt a bit before transferring to the center of your tortilla. Top with cooked asparagus and then drizzle a little Greek yogurt on top.

Each of these recipes can be altered slightly for a new and exciting meal every week. You may also want to try shrimp, skirt steak, or a Chile braised lamb taco.
